Delete Your Twofold Account

Delete in the app

1. Open Twofold and go to Settings.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Read the retention summary, enter your current password, and confirm.

Twofold freezes account access and processes removal of the account, private entries, original media, and backups. If processing is temporarily unavailable, the app keeps the request retryable instead of claiming it succeeded.

Request deletion without app access

Email support@vailgrid.comfrom the address associated with the account. Include only the account email and a request to delete the Twofold account. Support will verify ownership before acting. Do not send your password, invitation codes, recovery links, or private content.

What the remaining partner keeps

Your partner retains read-only copies of memories you had published and shared with them, including associated photos or videos. These copies can still contain names or identifying details. Private entries, drafts, and revoked sharing are excluded. Other author-owned records are removed.

Deletion cannot remotely erase an export, downloaded media, a partner's existing copy, or a file selected from your device. Remove local copies through your device's app storage controls after keeping any export you want to preserve.

Device features and Pro

Deletion revokes push routes and pending deliveries. Managed widget, reminder, export, and calendar state is cleared on the requesting device; if calendar permission has been revoked, restore permission to let Twofold remove its entries. Copies synchronized by another calendar provider may remain under that provider's control.

Deletion ends inherited partner coverage but does not cancel the purchaser's Google Play subscription. Cancel separately in Play to stop renewal. A minimal purchase ownership record remains to prevent receipt reuse and contains no memory content. See the subscription terms.
